Packers List Three Questionable Vs Eagles Week 1 Injury Report

Packers list three questionable vs. Eagles | Week 1 Injury Report

Three Packers players listed as questionable for season opener

The Green Bay Packers will be without two key players in their season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles, as cornerback Jaire Alexander (groin) and outside linebacker Rashan Gary (ankle) have been ruled out. Additionally, tight end Robert Tonyan (knee) is listed as questionable.

Alexander, Gary ruled out

The Packers’ top cornerback, Jaire Alexander, did not practice all week due to a groin injury and will miss Sunday’s game. Gary, who has been dealing with an ankle injury, also did not practice this week and will not play.

Tonyan questionable

Tonyan, who is coming off an ACL tear, was limited in practice this week and is questionable for the game. If he is unable to play, the Packers will be without their top three pass-catching tight ends, as Josiah Deguara (ankle) and Marcedes Lewis (groin) are also out.

Other injuries

In addition to the three players listed as questionable, the Packers have a few other players who are dealing with injuries. Safety Adrian Amos (concussion) and wide receiver Christian Watson (hamstring) are both expected to play, but they are listed on the injury report.

Outlook

The Packers will be facing a tough Eagles team in their season opener, and they will be without some key players. However, they are still expected to be competitive, and they will need to find a way to win without Alexander, Gary, and Tonyan.
